About

Alexandre Loureiro is an architect graduated at FAUP where he currently attends the PhD program on Urban Forms and Dynamics. 

He did his intership at a Rotterdam based office, Döll - Atelier voor Bouwkunst, in the Nederlands. Back to Portugal he collaborated with Bernardo Rodrigues Arquitectos and With Prof. Dr. Gonçalo Furtado as a research assistant. 

For several years he closely worked with Paulo Providência Arquitectos Associados where he took part in several major projects. 

In 2015 he founded a*l - Alexandre Loureiro Architecture Studio.

He is a founding member of 10.11 - Cultural Contamination Platform which envisions the conection between architecture and art, upon which its architectural media production has been Selected Project for Lisbon Trienal 2015 with the movie CADAVRE EXQUIS. 

He also has some published scientific and opinion papers on sustainability. 

He works and lives at Porto, Portugal.
